I was advised to keep my leg straight for a month, which unfortunately resulted in significant stiffness that I am now having to correct with physiotherapy. ​I eventually sought a second opinion from another Ayurvedic specialist who adopted a more intensive, short-term therapeutic approach (including steam and cupping).
